  • In just a few steps, the fantastic effects (unreal scenarios, moonlight in broad daylight, mysterious light moods) of a motif captured with an infrared filter can be realized, even for beginners in digital photography
  • The HOYA infrared filter R72 blocks visible light up to 720 nm,
For the purpose of increasing color contrasts, the infrared filter can be used in combination with filters such as yellow (K2), orange (G), and red (25A)

This is how it works:
Before attaching the HOYA infrared filter, perform a manual white balance and set it on the camera. Set the camera to manual mode and select the correct time/aperture combination using test shots. In image processing, first convert the image to black and white. Here, it is not recommended to use the automatic conversion, but the manual conversion via the color channels. You can use other settings such as contrast and brightness to customize your image.
