The ideal telephoto lens for filmmakers
The Samyang 135 mm T2.2 VDSLR ED UMC is a manually focusable video lens that is perfect for use with full-frame cameras. With its focal length of 135 mm, this sharp telephoto lens ensures an ideal separation of the focused object, which is caressed by a buttery soft bokeh.

Cine-LensFeatures
The focus setting can be adjusted very precisely with the Samyang 135 mm T2.2 VDSLR ED UMC video lens. A follow focus ring enables easy tracking of the focus area, while the aperture can be adjusted smoothly and silently. In addition to the distance and aperture scales on both sides, there is also a gear ring for setting the aperture.

Optical processing
The fast Samyang 135 mm T2.2 enables the filmmaker to achieve perfect results in both low light situations and very bright surroundings. This is made possible by the wide-opening T-number of T2.2 or closing to T22.

The lens construction of 11 Lens elements, arranged in 7 groups, houses an ED lens which ensures extremely low dispersion. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) is responsible for the optimum light yield and minimizes ghost images and disturbing flares.

Processing
9 aperture blades ensure an almost circular aperture. This creates crystal-clear, star-shaped backlights when the aperture is stopped down. When the aperture is opened, the focused object is wonderfully exposed and staged thanks to the butter-soft bokeh. The lens barrel is made of robust aluminum and impresses with its compact design. The lens hood included in the scope of delivery keeps out interfering light sources.
