HOYA UV Filter

A Hoya UV filter uses the highest quality glass that produces a smooth, clear image. This filter absorbs (almost) all UV rays - depending on the filter type - to achieve sharpness and clarity without affecting color rendition in the slightest. These popular filters are known for their ability to minimize reflections on filter surfaces, reducing flare and ghosting. For the user, this means sharper photos with more depth as well as finer and more detailed color gradations. A Hoya UV filter does not affect the colors of visible light and can therefore remain on the Lens at all times.

HOYA polarizing filter

With a circular polarizing filter, you can create unique effects in your image that are not possible in post-production, such as enhancing colour contrasts and controlling reflections. A polarizing filter is a great and easy way to achieve better results in your photos that are difficult and time-consuming in post-production. The overall high quality of the Hoya filter makes it perfect for advanced and professional photographers who want to achieve the highest standard in their images.

HOYA protective filter

Don't risk scratches, dirt or bumps on your expensive lens glass. A Hoya Protective Filter (or Protector) is a 100% clear filter that has absolutely no effect on the color balance or quality of your photo or the performance of your lens. For example: The HDX Protector is four times stronger than standard filter glass. The HOYA HD NANO Mk II UV offers the ultimate protection for your Lens, thanks to the nano-coating. It is especially recommended for advanced and professional photographers who need a particularly robust, durable protector for their daily shots.

HOYA ND filters

Neutral density (ND) filters are the most sought after and important type of photographic filters for several reasons. For photographers, ND filters provide precise control over the amount of light passing through the Lens for better creative control over exposure, such as long exposures. For video content creators, ND filters are very helpful to adjust shutter speeds to match the frame rate while maintaining the depth of field of the footage.

HOYA offers its own exclusive and wide range of ND filters for photographers and filmmakers. PRO ND / EX filters use HOYA's clear optical glass mounted in a lightweight, precision machined aluminum frame. The frame has front filter threads so you can attach additional filters or a lens cap. The top of the range HD MkII IRND filters have IR-cut ACCU-ND technology, water and oil repellent coating and flat frame.

HOYA Variable ND Filter

For perfectly balanced shots in any lighting situation. Variable ND filters specifically reduce the amount of light entering the Lens without affecting color or sharpness. This gives you full control over exposure and depth of field even in bright sunlight. Ideal for photo and video shoots with an open aperture or smooth motion blur - for natural, harmonious results with a professional look.

HOYA's Variable Density II filter is a density-adjustable filter with an ND range of 1.5 to 9 f-stops (ND3-400). Suitable for wide-angle lenses, with special knob for practical density adjustment. Available sizes in 49 - 82mm.

These include special effect filters such as the popular Mist Diffuser Black, Star and Sparkle effect filters. Color filters for analogue photography to correct color deviations are also available. You can easily achieve outstanding creative or unusual results and create special images for memorable occasions such as weddings, parties and vacations. Get creative with Hoya!

Photography with color filter

Working with blocking filters had its heyday in the purely analog era. Due to the wide dynamic range of digital sensors and, above all, the possibilities of image processing, the topic has been somewhat forgotten. But in times when AI & Co. are becoming more and more popular, many photographers are going back to basics. These color filters serve the purpose of blocking certain colors from an image, because not every colored light can enter through a filter. These filters are available in a wide variety of colors, the following are common: Green, red, orange, yellow and blue.
