The Blackmagic Camera Update 10.2 adds support for phase detection autofocus to the PYXIS 6K. This allows subjects to be kept in focus effortlessly even when moving, with options for continuous autofocus and object and face tracking modes now added. The update also adds support for stream routing via Blackmagic Cloud with the PYXIS 6K. This allows a live stream from the camera to be routed directly to a studio or streamed to multiple platforms simultaneously using Blackmagic Cloud.

Panasonic is significantly expanding the possibilities around the LUMIX S9 and the LUMIX Lab app. Version 3.0 introduces RAW editing on the smartphone, as well as S+Q video editing and the option to install camera and lens firmware directly via the app. In addition, LUTs can now be designed even more individually with parameters such as grain, color noise or sharpness and applied directly in the camera. With firmware 2.0, the LUMIX S9 also benefits from new functions for My Photo Style, more stable wired transfers and extended REAL TIME LUT features. The app update to version 3.0 will be available free of charge in the app stores from May 20, with the firmware update for the S9 expected to follow in June 2026.
