An ultra-telephoto zoom Lens with Optical Stabilizer (OS) has several advantages. The OS allows the photographer to shoot in almost any situation. This adapter expands the possible uses of lenses.
The MC-11 mount adapter makes it possible to use interchangeable lenses with a SIGMA EF mount on camera bodies with the Sony E-mount. In the past, there were already various methods that made it possible to use Lens of a certain camera system on a Body with another system. However, today's digital camera systems are much more complex and it is a difficult task to develop a mount adapter that matches both the mechanical components and the software requirements of Lens and camera. Even greater difficulties arise when developing an adapter that allows DSLR camera lenses to be attached to the bodies of mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras. In today's photographic market, there is a great need for such an adapter that not only adapts the flange focal distance, but also maintains full functionality.
The MC-11 mount adapter contains the data necessary to ensure fast and smooth AF and OS with compatible Lens. At the same time, they ensure compatibility with the camera functions that ensure edge illumination and correct lateral chromatic aberration, distortion and other problems.
Since the Sony E-mount camera bodies do not require the integration of lenses with a mechanical aperture control, the SIGMA EF interchangeable lenses and the SIGMA interchangeable lenses with Canon mount are fully compatible with the automatic exposure control of the Sony E-mount cameras by means of the MC-11 mount adapter.
The MC-11 mount adapter is an ideal addition to the equipment of professional photographers who work with different camera systems depending on the subject, and offers great advantages for amateur photographers who frequently use different camera systems. Their own equipment gains significantly in value if the existing lenses are compatible with different camera systems. In addition, users of Sony E-mount cameras can take advantage of an even wider range of compatible lenses with the adapter.
With the MC-11 mount adapter, SIGMA interchangeable lenses with the proprietary EF mount and SIGMA interchangeable lenses with a Canon mount can be connected to Sony E-mount camera systems without any modification. Photographers who use different camera systems can now use their valuable lenses flexibly.
Note: The lens data update requires that the latest version of the SIGMA Optimization Pro software has been installed on the computer and that the SIGMA USB-DOCK (optionally available) is present.

Submitted customer opinions and uploaded media are usually reviewed and published within a few working days. All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Promotional use is also permitted. The content may be edited or deleted if it violates the guidelines for ratings and community media as well as these terms of use or if it makes sense for the respective purpose. It is also possible to shorten the content at any time and without giving reasons.
Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and agents do not warrant the ability to modify or delete the content you submit, should you wish to do so.
You transfer the rights and licence of your content to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives. You grant Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives, the unrestricted right to your customer opinion (rating text, nickname, star rating, recommendation, etc.) as well as to your media (e.g. images, videos, audio files, texts, documents, etc.; incl. the indication of the author, description, etc.) to use, change, store, delete, shorten, modify, adapt, translate, copy, pass on, sell and distribute worldwide in any form, any medium, in any technology. Personal data (e-mail address, address, contact details) will not be passed on to third parties.
You assume full responsibility for your content. You agree to indemnify Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future affiliates and agents for all costs, including attorneys' fees, any damages, consequential damages of any kind, claims and demands arising from your failure to comply with the Review and Community Media Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
