  • Hoya UV filter
  • high brilliance and best contrasts
  • new antistatic coating
  • hardened surface against wear
  • dirt and water repellent
  • light and flat, suitable for wide angle lenses

The new Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next filters use a newly developed antistatic coating that acts like a magnetic field in reverse to keep dust and dirt away from the filter surface. The three filter types in the series, a CIP-PL filter, a UV filter and a Protector, are therefore particularly suitable for use in dirty or dusty environments. Unlike conventional filters, which require frequent cleaning in such environments to avoid ruining shots with dirt in front of the optics, the new Antistatic filters require far less care.

Of course, even with these filters, cleaning is not completely unnecessary, but it can be kept to a minimum. In this way, the photographer or filmmaker reduces the risk of the filter surface being scratched by the finest dust or dirt particles, which can often hardly be avoided by frequent cleaning in such environments. The hardened, antistatic surface also repels water and rain, and can be easily and gently cleaned of dirt stains and fingerprints as needed.

Hoya Fusion Antistatic UV - High brilliance and best contrasts
The new UV filter absorbs ultraviolet rays that often make outdoor photos appear blurry and indistinct. This happens especially when shooting in the mountains and at the sea. This clears the view, suppresses the blue cast in the distance, and increases image contrast. This versatile "fair-weather" filter is suitable for color and black-and-white shots and also serves as an always-useable lens protector, which is further enhanced by its anticstatic properties. Special UV glass absorbs almost the entire spectrum of UV rays, making images clearer and sharper and haze fainter.
